Some paintings resist explanation. Number 22 is one of them — a field of spontaneous energy where turquoise blues collide with deep purples, sparks of yellow cut through grounding black, and the white beneath breathes through it all. The layered, expressive brushwork creates unexpected overlaps and small moments that reward close looking. Movement and contrast drive the piece without prescribing a story.

This is a painting that changes with the light and with the viewer.
